For the first chapter of Mirror Groove Session, Herr Krank brought his records to Single Fin, in Nouméa. The Mirror concept fits in a single image: the DJ plays facing a full-height mirror, back turned to the crowd. The dancefloor doesn't watch a booth: it watches the artist work in the reflection, hands on the decks, glances, hesitations. It is closer than any conventional club setup, and it is exactly what the camera is there for.
The set opens on disco, hardens along the way and closes on acid, with BNH on live percussion from start to finish. Two hours, 250 people in the room, one giant mirror. Recorded in March 2026 on the world's largest lagoon, 17,000 kilometres from the European clubs Herr Krank plays the rest of the year.
