Gospel house is not something we get to put on very often. So when Charlie said yes, we were glad. Hucha delivers one hour twenty-seven here with nothing cut, the second set of our February night, running past midnight. Floorplan is the reference for the genre, which tells you roughly where this one goes. Around the twenty minute mark, the room properly gets into it.
The recording follows the usual principle: live in front of the crowd, in one take, facing the full-height mirror, sound taken straight off the mixing board and two cameras running. That is what Mirror Groove Session is, a monthly electronic music night in Nouméa, New Caledonia, where every set is filmed in multicam and released in full — house, afro house, latin house, tech house, disco and French touch, from an island in the South Pacific.
